Customer Reviews of Spring Cottage, Port Appin - Sleeps 6
"Rural and peaceful"
Fifties built cottage in stunning rural location with large grassy well-mown garden and access to private rocky beach with views of Isle of Mull. Plenty of interesting walks in the area and a well stocked village shop a mile away. Comfortable accomodation for 6 with good kitchen though slightly cramped dining area if everyone eats at once. Well appointed kitchen with washing machine. Sitting room with picture window for fine weather days and log fire when not so good! Slight problem with water supply was quickly fixed by owner's local agents. Great base for family outdoor holidays.

"Homely retreat and base for a wide range of outdoor activities"
We stayed with our young family for a week at Spring Cottage and had a wonderful time. You don't need to venture far from the cottage to find things to do, whether that is a kick about in the large garden or a wander down to the loch shore for a picnic or even a swim! The cottage was clean and tidy on arrival and we were even supplied with a welcoming bottle of wine. It is well appointed for a small cottage and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watersports in the bay and had a wonderful family day cycling down Lismore Island. The highlight was the ferry trip with bikes on the tiny ferry from Port appin.
