Lovely sandy beaches abound in the area and unsurpassed coastal scenery is available in abundance. Windsurfing and sailing can be enjoyed here and also close to castle and whisky trail. Shops 50 yards, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

1st comment: Very nice spacious house with plenty of room for 2 families - especially nice is that the ground floor has 3 - almost 4 rooms over which to distribute in case of bad weather. In our case on a calm day mink whales could be seen from the TV room! April 2012.
2nd comment: Portknockie is a remote village, but absolutely wonderful and with many things to do in walking distance. Half hour drive in all directions opens up more things to do - forests, towns, distilleries, castles to name a few. This house was fantastic, very clean, very well-appointed and suited our family very well. Aug 2011.
