Customer Reviews of Slaters Fisherman's Cottage in Portknockie - Sleeps 8
“Slater's is a beautiful and immaculately presented cottage that I am delighted to recommend to anyone. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are all great sizes and the beds are extremely comfy! The owner, goes above and beyond to make the experience great, from the generous welcome pack on arrival to providing information on local attractions.”

“The house has been furnished with an eye to detail and provides everything a holidaymaker could wish. It is very comfortable, plenty of space, and has a welcoming feel. The bay and beach are beautiful and the coastal paths to both Buckie and Cullen are worth walking. Portknockie is an excellent base from which to tour the area. It is within easy reach of Elgin, the nearest big town, as well as the picturesque villages along the Moray coastline. The local fish and chip shop deserves its award winning status. There are two pubs in the village, both within a minute’s walk of the cottage, but only one does food. Previous occupants of the cottage have praised the Victoria Hotel but we found it both unfriendly and rude. The Seafield Inn next door is basic but friendly. On the road to Cullen, the Cullen Bay Hotel provided good food and an excellent place from which to view the dolphins frolicking in the bay (the hotel provides binoculars!). Cullen also has an Indian and a Chinese takeaway, useful at the end of a full sightseeing day. We would highly recommend the cottage.”
