Boasting stunning views over the Solway Firth, this semi-detached cottage is situated on the `7 Stanes’ route and is a short walk to the sea. The pretty harbour town of Kirkcudbright, locally known as the artists’ town, lies close by and offers many festivals annually, as well as a selection of pubs and restaurants. Outdoor pursuits on offer include fishing, horse riding in Galloway Forest Park, cycling, golf and watersports. For the less active there are numerous historical sites and gardens to explore, making this a wonderful base to tour south west Scotland. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles.

1st comment: Very clean and comfortable cottage. Warm and cosy with everything needed for a family holiday. Very quiet surroundings, safe fully fenced garden (would be ideal for young children, which we don’t have any more!). Would definitely recommend this property. Oct 2011.
2nd comment: We had a marvellous holiday the local area and little beach were great. The weather was kind to us but there is lots to do nearby even if the weather had not been good. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the cottage. The welcome pack was much appreciated on our arrival. July 2011.

4th comment: The cottage was quiet and comfortable the owners had put a lot of effort into making the cottage modern and well equipped the eggs from the farmhouse are to be recommended. April 2011.
