Located just yards from the sea in the harbour village of the Isle of Whithorn, this detached bungalow is an ideal location to explore the breathtaking scenery and beauty of southern Scotland.
From the Galloway Hills with their many hidden lochs, burns and waterfalls, to the beautiful Solway coastline with sandy beaches, rocky coves and picturesque villages.
Horse riding, golf, sailing, fishing, cycling and walking are available in the area and with its famously mild climate and the balmy influence of the Gulf Stream, Galloway is home to some of the most beautiful and exotic gardens.
Shops 150 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
All on ground floor: Living room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 single with additional pull-out single. Shower room with toilet.
Elec CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. DVD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. F/freezer. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (1 car). No smoking. NB: 100 yards to sea, no fence.

3rd comment: Lovely location, lovely area. Home from home, but I did find the futon, used as a sofa in the living room, a bit hard on the bum in the evening. The temperature was too warm in the afternoons & I couldn’t regulate the NSH. Sept 2011.

7th comment: The property was very clean and very welcoming. It is in a quiet location just yards from a lovely pebble beach. Only round the corner to the harbour and local pub which was very good. The caretaker made us very welcome with tea and biscuits waiting and plenty of local knowledge for a good holiday. July 2010.
