Customer Reviews of Seabird Cottage, Broadford, Skye - Sleeps 4
st comment: Great cottage - everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. Home from home. Wonderful views and local amenities. Oct 2011.
nd comment: This is a fantastic cottage with everything you need. The added bonus was the telescope to watch all the sealife. As I visit Skye every year the weather doesn’t disappoint me....we had 6 days rain and 1 day beautiful but the whole holiday was great. The owners are there should you need them but otherwise you don’t see them. What might be of some help is a list of eating places on the island where dogs are allowed inside when the weather is bad. Arriba in Portree and The Watermill just along the road from the cottage allowed us to take our small spaniel inside. A great holiday. Oct 2011.
rd comment: The cottage was even better than the photographs! They had thought of everything you may need, area maps, walking books, telescope, DVD’s, games, welcome tray, bikes and more. Location was very excellent for supermarket and restaurants. It was an hour drive from some of our favourite walks,Coral beaches, Talisker beach, Fairy pools and Old Man of Storr. So if intending to walk only in the north of the island it could be a long drive each day. We enjoyed eating at Claymores (200m) from cottage, Creelers and Duisdale Hotel (bar area). Unless you want to be away from it all you will not be disappointed with this coattage. July 2011.
th comment: Absolutely beautiful! July 2011.
th comment: The cottage was of a very high standard and very comfortable. An ideal location for exploring both north and south of the island and local amenities such as supermarket and petrol station within walking distance of the property. The owners who lived next door were very welcoming and friendly. May 2011.
th comment: One of the best properties I have ever stayed in, it was clean, comfortable, lots of extra touches and wonderful views. March 2011.
th comment: Seabird cottage provides excellent accommodation and felt like a home from home. Dec 2010.
th comment: Seabird cottage was in a fabulous location, looking straight out onto the sea. The view was framed with a beautiful arched window in the living room. The cottage was immaculately decorated and furnished throughout. Mike and Jackie were friendly and welcoming, there was a welcome tray set out for us on arrival, and also a small welcome plate for Samson our dog, which was much appreciated! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking on the Isle of Skye for a holiday location. Nov 2010.
th comment: Beautiful location. Warm and welcoming property. Nov 2010.
th comment: We loved Seabird Cottage so much that we would have liked to have moved it back home to live in ! Jackie and Mick were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Oct 2010.
