Customer Reviews of Heron Bay Cottage, Broadford, Skye - Sleeps 4
1st comment: Heron Bay was ideally situated for us in a quiet location. We could go for a walk along the beach/estuary at the bottom of the garden when the tide was out. There was plenty of wildlife to watch. The cottage was very comfortable. The welcome pack which consisted of tea, coffee, sugar, bread and milk for our arrival was a valuable touch. The kitchen was better equipped than mine at home. Having an upstairs bathroom with a bath and a downstairs bathroom with a shower meant no queuing. The nearest shopping area was Broadford 3 miles away a quick trip in the car or a lovely walk along the beach, over the stream and on the inlet via Waterloo. We travelled to as many places as we could fit in during our week stay on the Isle of Skye and got wet every single day due to the mists and the rain and the fog and the wind but there was sunshine and there were rainbows and we had a fabulous time. We saw otters, eagles seals, get up early and go explore, we went very early in the season with a lot of places not yet open but we still found we hadnt enough of time to discover the whole of Skye, get out and experience as much of it as you can, you will love it. We would definitely go back and definitely stay at Heron Bay again, its ideal. March 2012.
2nd comment: Heron Bay Cottage is a wonderful cottage. It is warm and cosy with beautiful views and a lovely open fire. It is in a superb location in Skye. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with an extremely well equipped modern kitchen. There was plenty of hot water and little things like towels, soap were all provided. We would thoroughly recommend Heron Bay Cottage. Jan 2012.
