Occupying the upper two floors of Ravenswood House, this spacious holiday apartment has retained many of its original features. Situated close to the shores of Loch Linnhe and the Caledonian Canal it has views towards the loch and surrounding mountains. Lochaber the ’Outdoor Capital of the UK’ is home to the World Championship Mountain Bike course and other outdoor activities include skiing, snowboarding, climbing, fishing, sailing, horse-riding and golf. The breathtaking scenery has been used as the backdrop for many well known films including Brave Heart and Rob Roy, whilst the West Highland Steam Train (seasonal) takes you past the Glenfinnan Viaduct as depicted in one of the Harry Potter movies. Enjoy a trip up Aonoch Mor Mountain in a gondola where on a clear day you can see for miles. Wildlife is in abundance and offers the chance to spot golden eagles, deer, otters, porpoises and dolphins. The area is steeped in history and there are many castles, monuments, museums, gardens and craft shops to visit. Glencoe, Oban, Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye are easily accessible. Fort William town centre is only a few miles away and has a leisure centre, shops, bars and restaurants. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
