There are opportunities for skiing, climbing, and hill walking along with canoeing, cycling and fishing, which are all available locally.
Ideally placed for touring, with Glencoe, Skye, Loch Ness and Inverness all within easy reach, this holiday property is perfect for not only the active, but also those seeking tranquillity and relaxation among some spectacular scenery and wildlife.

1st comment: This was a fantastic location, even better than the website pictures. The owner made us very welcome and told us the local amenities. Step out of the cabin, look to the left and you have the most amazing view of Ben Nevis and the mountains nearby. The cabin was well furnished with a good kitchen and comfy beds. Everything worked properly as well. I would recommend this property very highly. May 2012.

6th comment: Dontra Chalet is a charming place to stay. The chalet itself is very comfortable and has all the facilities you need for self-catering. The surrounding area is stunningly beautiful and you can go on many different excursions. We would recommend it to others and hope to return there someday in the future. June 2008.
7th comment: Lovely surroundings with views of the Ben Nevis range. The property is tucked away rather than being remote, within easy reach of Fort William as well as the "Gondolas" and other attractions. Highly recommended. April 2007.
