Pheasant Cottage, by Dunkeld - Sleeps 6
Pheasant Cottage is a beautiful, detached, traditional farmstead cottage built of highland stone believed to date back to the 18th century. Accessed via a rough track, within the pretty hamlet of Kincraigie, it enjoys uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills and easy access to nearby Loch Skiach. The holiday cottage has a rear garden where visitors can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Historic Dunkeld, with its cathedral and restored 17th-century buildings is well worth the visit. The city of Perth is 16 miles, with excellent shops, restaurants, theatres and indoor sports facilities. Fishing and horse riding are also available nearby. For those keen on outdoor activities there is a range locally including watersports on Loch Tay and River Tay, white water rafting at Aberfeldy, canoeing at Loch Tummel, skiing at Glenshee and the Cairngorm and Nevis range, as well as the local PGL Children’s Activity Centre.
