This 19th century shooting lodge in rural Perthshire is just six miles from Dunkeld along the Blairgowrie road and is set well off the road in private position. Aside from any sporting activity, it is easy driving along to Dunkeld to travel north or south on the A9 or to explore Aberdeenshire and Speyside. There is excellent local shopping in Blairgowrie including local butchers etc and a monster Tesco hypermarket. Trains stop at Dunkeld for the main line from the South and the sleeper.

The lodge sleeps sixteen people over eight bedrooms with a family bathroom and two shower rooms. There is also a fitted kitchen, a dining room, a sitting room and lockable gun cupboards.

Outside the property there is off road parking for ten cars and a lawned garden and access to the estate grounds including a fishing loch.

  • Two well-behaved dogs welcome (July to Jan only). No dogs permitted February, March, April, May or June due to lambing. Note: Strictly no cats.

  • Shooting/stalking available on estate at additional charge by prior arrangement with owner.
  • Due to the location, a suitable vehicle will be required in icy/snowy conditions to get along estate roads.

The views from the property were spectacular. The house was big enough to accommodate the 16 people comfortably. The open fire was great and there was enough fire wood to last our stay. The kitchen was very well kitted out and made cooking easy. We had a great time!

Riechip was very comfortable and exactly what we required, in a good location for all of the activities in the vicinity. The drying room was essential and well used, thekitchen was well stocked with utensils, cutlery & crockery. Beds were comfortable and most of the bedrooms were large. The living room was large with superb views over the valley.
