This bright, wonderfully presented, single-storey cottage, adjoining the owner’s home enjoys stunning open views across the surrounding countryside. The cottage is wheelchair accessible and has been very well furnished, offering every convenience for an enjoyable holiday, with wheelchair access to the shower room for less mobile guests.
With Glen Affric and Strathfarrar close by, both designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it is not surprising the area is renowned for its fabulous scenery. An abundance of wildlife can be seen from the cottage with roe deer, red kites and buzzards often seen.
Its location offers a super base for touring, with Loch Ness, Inverness and the unspoilt west coast. The Castle Stewart Golf Course just a 30-minute drive.
Shops, pubs and restaurants 2.5 miles.

4th comment: Ornum Cottage was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. The peace and quiet was wonderful and just what we needed. As a disabled lady the cottage met all of my needs, especially the bathroom and shower. Can strongly recommend a trip to Loch Ness and the Isle of Skye. A comfortable holiday all round. Sept 2011.

9th comment: A wonderful place to stay for peace and quietness, it refreshed us to the very core of our being. The wild life is amazing there and the air so fresh and clean. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel at home straight away. A beautiful place to sit and relax away from everything with all mod cons even Wifi and yet not to far to travel to larger towns. The weather was extremely kind to us. Came home with many pictures of beautiful wildlife taken from the owners land. We will return here. May 2011.
