Resting 30 yards above the River Awe with unspoilt views of the river and surrounding mountain scenery, this well maintained property is only 14 miles from Oban and 2 miles from Taynuilt and is conveniently located for touring. Fishing, sailing, horse riding, walking and cycling are some of the variety of activities available. There is an abundance of wildlife including golden eagles and buzzards, which are often seen, or you can spend a day on the seas dolphin spotting.
Take the ferry from Oban to the magical Isle of Mull where you can visit Iona with its famous benedictine abbey or stroll round the wonderful gardens at Torosay Castle. Cruachan Hollow Mountain lies deep within Ben Cruachan and is one of the country’s most amazing engineering achievements, an underground world on a spectacular scale. Bonawe Iron Furnace at Taynuilt is the most complete charcoal fired ironworks in Britain, or take a step back in time and visit Inveraray Jail, a living museum. Fort William, Glencoe and Lochgilphead are also easily reached. Shop and pub 500 yards.
