12th Comment This is a beautiful cottage in a superb location. If you really want to feel out in the middle of nowhere but actually be close to Fort William in reality, then this is the place to go. The views are special, the pub down the road is nice and within walking distance, and Ben Nevis is on the doorstep. The family are very welcoming and the cottage is well-equipped and well-maintained. I would highly recommend this place - especially compared to the look of some of the guesthouses in the town itself! Be sure to try the steep ascent on the opposite side of the river to the Ben Nevis Inn (for amazing views) and a trip on the train to Malaig (and from there to Skye - which we didn’t have time for in the end) for the most astounding tour of the countryside, mountains and lochs. Loved it! April 2010.
13th Comment We loved the view from the apartment. I loved sitting out on the balcony in the early morning as the sun came over the mountain. April 2010.
14th Comment The setting was absolutely exquisite, the cottage was perfect. And the owners even kindly baked us a cake left with a welcome note. (Really good cake, too). March 2010.

16th Comment Very well presented. Plenty of room for 4 people. Owner very friendly and helpful. Dec 2009.
