"A great place"
We had a lovely stay. Lodge was very comfortable and well equipped. Location is convenient for aberdeen, stunning scenery and of course golf! Owner couldn't have been more helpful and available.

"Very comfortable, quiet and spacious"
We were very impressed with Pine Lodge West. There's good separation between cottages, the area is quiet and there's ample parking. Nights were cool so the excellent insulation paid off and very little heating was needed. It's about a half-hour to aberdeen and in the other direction aboyne and Ballater were worth a visit. The area is very scenic. We usually take a cottage two or three times per year and this was probably our best in the past five years. Mobile phone coverage was non-existent for T-Mobile (though Vodafone and O2 work, apparently) Once we got the wifi code for Greenpark, though, we were able to use email and the internet (albeit a bit slowly) and this helped a lot. We may well visit again - if so I'll take a Vodafone mobile! For utilities, Freeview TV and dab radio are both good.
