This spacious, detached, single storey holiday property is set at the side of the Caledonian Canal, enjoying breathtaking and uninterrupted views of the canal, Ben Nevis and Aonach Mor Ski Range. With a large garden and an enclosed area for children, it makes an ideal family home. Banavie provides an excellent base for a holiday. Just 5 miles from Fort William - ’the outdoor capital of the world’, this property is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast with skiing, climbing, walking, canoeing and fishing all available locally. Also nearby is the famous downhill mountain bike track and Great Glen Way; a walk/cycle way from Inverness to Fort William through the Great Glen. This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an abundance of wildlife. Loch Ness, Skye, Aviemore, Glencoe and Oban are all within easy reach. Membership included to local Fort William leisure club comprising of pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles. Can be booked with property 25422 (1 mile away) to sleep 14 people.
All on ground floor: Living room. Dining room/conservatory with patio doors. Kitchen. 4 bedrooms: 2 double, one (5ft) with en-suite shower room and toilet, 2 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet.
Open fire in living room (initial fuel inc). Gas CH, gas, elec, bed linen and towels inc. DVD and small library. CD. Gas hob. Elec oven. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. F/freezer. Enclosed lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. No smoking. NB: 7 steps and drop in garden. Garden leads to canal (40 yards).

1st comment: A great bungalow with exceptional views of Ben Nevis and the Calendonian Canal. So even if it’s raining, you can sit in the sun lounge watching the boats go by and watch the ever changing weather. The bungalow is well equipped with every item we needed, including games and jigsaws. We’ll be going back. June 2011.

9th comment: Its situated in idyllic surroundings from where you can see Ben Nevis and the beautiful countryside around. The canal runs just at the end of the garden and is very safe for children to play or paddle in. the gardens were very private and very well set. July 2009.
