Whilst the children explore with bucket and spade, the older members of the party will delight in the famous Scottish golf links at Machrihanish as the first tee is practically on the doorstep. There are a number of other golf courses in this unspoilt area, which also offers some lovely walks along the coast and into the hills. Pony trekking, fishing and sea angling are available, day trips to the islands of Arran and Gigha can be enjoyed and nearby, the historic Kintyre Trail is also worth exploring. Bar/restaurant in village, nearest shop 2miles, further shopping and places to eat out at Campbeltown (4 miles).
This attractive bungalow is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The house is surrounded by a delightful seaside garden with sheltered sunspot for sitting out, complete with palm trees as testimony to the mild climate of this westerly region. There are spectacular sunsets to enjoy and a very varied and interesting wildlife as access from the back garden leads directly onto the beach .
2 double, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom (cot and high chair provided), large sunny lounge with patio doors to the garden, well-equipped kitchen with dining area overlooking Machrihanish Bay, bathroom with shower over bath, shower-room. All electric heating. Fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, tumble dryer, television, DVD player, CD player, I-pod dock, Wi-Fi, telephone for incoming calls only. Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity extra on meter.
