Situated on the shores of Loch Long, in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, this single storey waterfront cottage is ideal for a relaxing holiday and enjoys stunning views over Loch Long and the forested mountain to the rear.
The cottage provides a great location for touring Argyll and Cowal and is wonderful for nature lovers, photographers, artists and those seeking a peaceful rest.
A large variety of activities available include walking, fishing, cycling, golf, quad-biking and watersports. The area abounds with wildlife and visitors can stroll through the magnificent woodland gardens at nearby Benmore Botanic Gardens. Excellent pubs and restaurants within a 5-mile radius. Further afield are Inverary, Oban and Loch Lomond.

All on ground floor: Living room with French doors. Kitchen. Conservatory. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Laminate and tiled floors throughout.
Oil CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. T/cot. Freeview TV. CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Portable BBQ. Parking (2 cars). No smoking. NB: There is a loch 50 metres from the property.

1st comment: The house was warm and cosy with excellent loch views and opportunities to see plenty of wildlife. There were walks in the area, but sadly no pub or restaurant within walking distance. Plenty to do on the Cowal Peninsula. We would definately return. June 2012.

4th comment: Lochside is a lovely little property, in a very beautiful and peaceful location. Lochside is home from home with everything you need for your stay, but the views are much better!! Theres plenty to see and do in the area, if you like walking try puck fell, theres some nice little walks there. For food the Whistlefield Inn is very nice, try the steak pie!! The weather was good for the week i stayed. I would happily stay at Lochside again. March 2012.

7th comment: Location, the conservatory was wonderful. Lovely quiet area, lots of wonderful wildlife. We were very comfortable. Watch out for porpoise in the loch, binoculars a must. Aug 2010.
8th comment: Lochside is one of the cleanest properties we have stayed in and smelt beautiful on arrival. Kitchen was not as big as it looked on the photo but was fine for our needs. The location is fantastic and along with the views from the conservatory, this was a special holiday. Aug 2010.
