Customer Reviews of The Old Ticket Office, Loch Long - Sleeps 2
st comment: A delightful place in most every way. However, it is quite isolated so I would not recommend it to folks who are disabled & do not have access to a car like myself. Despite, the inconveniecne I did quite enjoy myself. And, the locals were fantastic. May 2012.
nd comment: This was a lovely cottage very high clean, and well fitted and a joy to stay in area. The people were lovely. Stunning views and I would go back again. May 2012.
rd comment: Beautiful setting right by the pier, even though it rained practically the whole time we stayed there, we loved the place. Dec 2011.
th comment: Wonderful relaxing place right on Loch Long. Fantastic setting. Would recommend to anyone who wants a beautiful setting and not far from local shops etc. Oct 2011.
th comment: We arrived at The Old Ticket Office and couldn’t have asked for more. My wife and I were there for my 50th Birthday. We were shown around the property by the owners sister who explained everything in great detail, location of shops, pubs ,restaurants, etc. The Old Ticket Office has been restored to very high standards and the views stunning. The Pier is an Anglers Dream ( I was fishing every day) and the raised garden ideal for eating Breakfast , Lunch and Dinner, the weather was wonderful. If you want a quiet spot for a break I would put The Old Ticket Office first on your list. We’ll be back again for sure. July 2011.
th comment: Ideal for just chilling out. Perfect if you like fishing. Lots of wildlife on the estuary. Warm and cosy. Check on when the Waverley steam boat runs, it wasn’t running when we were there which was a bit disappointing. June 2011.
th comment: Very clean and comfortable with all mod cons. Under floor heating & log fire, which were both used even in May! Couch in living room could be bigger - slightly cramped for 2 people. Perhaps have an armchair as well. May 2011.
th comment: Mrs Harvey arranged for her sister to meet us on arrival - very lovely lady, she put herself out for us. We arrived late and she waited - many thanks for that. Ticket Office cottage is on our list to revisit, weather was great, will hope to be able to explore more of the area next time we go and make it a must to follow the road down the loch and over the mountain. March 2011.
