Customer Reviews of Lawries Thatched Black House, Uig Peninsula on Isle of Skye - Sleeps 2
st comment: Beautiful location. Delightful to see from a distance and cosy and well-fitted within. Excellent for touring northern Skye, great base for walking and for watching wildlife. March 2012.
nd comment: The property was in an excellent position, views were amazing from the cottage and the location was perfect for us. Ideal cottage for our dogs too the garden was enclosed and big enough for them to run around. We didnt really see anyone when we were there and that was ideal for us. I would recommend this property to everyone. SUPERB. Sept 2011.

th comment: Excellent cottage, really comfortable and a proper home-from-home at an absolutely stunning location. July 2011.
th comment: Beautiful old thatched cottage. The thick stone walls & lead lined roof mean that you have to go outside to get a mobile ’phone signal, but there again no-one can bother you. We never met the owners but everything we needed was there. Despite the remote location the sat-nav took us to the door from the postcode. Not one for those who like lots of entertainment nearby but for a romantic hideaway it was perfect. May 2011.
th comment: Wonderful location absolutely idyllic views across to the Western Isles. Easy access to the main road going around the island yet off the beaten track. Quiet just the sound of the birds and the sea. Cottage well thought out and everything needed was available. Cost and comfortable just like a home from home. Would book to go back again and again. April 2011.
