Amidst the woodlands and mountains of the ancient Black Forest, this traditional farm cottage is situated on a country estate on the shores of Loch Rannoch, deep in the remote tranquility of Highland Perthshire. The cottage enjoys panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and guests are welcome to explore the extensive parklands, forest trails and loch shore. The interior is cosy, comfortably furnished and welcoming. The glazed porch opens out onto the parklands. Private water supply.
The estate is less than 20 miles from the A9, accessed by picturesque country roads twisting alongside beautiful shimmering lochs with easy access to Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. The village is 5 miles away, with a good shop and hotel and activities in the area include hill-walking, climbing, biking, angling, ornithology and sailing. 18 miles west, at the end of the road across Rannoch Moor, lies Rannoch Station, where you can join the train for a trip on the famous West Highland line to Fort William and Mallaig.
