Island Bay Cottage has been equipped to ensure an enjoyable holiday and the perfect base for touring this part of the Highlands. Eilean Donan Castle is just 3 miles away with the bridge over to the Isle of Skye just 7 miles. Visit Glenelg, Plockton and Dornie and slightly further afield, Gairloch, Ullapool and Poolewe where you will find the sub-tropical NTS Inverewe Gardens. Climbing with the Five Sisters of Kintail and the Falls of Glomach nearby, sea and loch fishing, mountain biking and an array of water sports are amongst many activities available.

2nd comment: This property was all that we could wish for - so peaceful - no passing traffic and a beautiful view from the lounge window - a sea loch and mountains. As we had several wet days we were content to watch the changing light on the loch and to keep a sharp look out for the otters! When the weather did improve we rode our bikes up the valley for miles and did not see a car all day! Feb 2012.
