5th comment: Myself and my new wife stayed at Hirta for our honeymoon. The property felt so much at home and has the best views that I have seen. I am from the north east of Scotland and have good views where I stay but from there it was just beautiful. Everytime you looked out the window it looked like a different place. The cottage itself is very well insulated and warm. Nothing like sitting in the evening with the log burner going also!!! Aug 2011.
