Five minutes’ walk from the seashore, this cosy, detached cottage enjoys panoramic views of Macleod’s Tables to the east and the sea Loch Pooltiel to the west. Heron’s Rest makes the ideal holiday base for exploring this beautiful island.
A super area for mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, fishing and much, much more. Take a trip to Dunvegan Castle, the bustling and colourful island ‘capital’ of Portree, Talisker Distillery or travel to the south end of the island fondly called ‘The Garden of Skye’. Here you can visit Armadale Castle and Gardens or explore the unspoilt coastline and perhaps catch a glimpse of the vast array of wildlife.
For the less energetic, just sit back and relax and watch the ever changing, stunning scenery from the cottage windows.
