“One word - fabulous!”
Wow. We have run out of superlatives to describe this gem of a house - everything about it, from the warm and inviting log fire glowing on our arrival, to the impressively thorough attention to detail (even hot water bottles if needed!) enabled us to have a truly fabulous holiday over New Year. This is our 14th year of self catering new year trips, and without doubt, our best ever. The warmth, luxury and comfort of the gorgeous gatehouse (mirroring the warmth of the lovely owner, Andrea) were a treat for the body and soul. It is private, yet comfortably close to all amenities, and is a fantastic base for exploring the lovely Scottish Borders and Northumberland. We cannot recommend the house highly enough, would come back in a heartbeat, and will look back on a truly magical new year. Thank you, Andrea, you have an amazing house, and are a lovely host. - January 2017
