Customer Reviews of Firdale, nr Fort William - Sleeps 7
st comment: Very nice cottage with excellent views. Plenty space inside and out and is quite well furnished with practically everything you would need. A tumble dryer would be an asset to the cottage but their are adequate radiators to dry clothes on. The owners are very nice and helpful and I would be more than happy to holiday here again. March 2012.
nd comment: Spacious accommodation with first class views of Ben Nevis cloud level permitting. Shower in need of maintenance, just works. Oct 2011.
rd comment: Clean, warm and well furnished. Oct 2010.
th comment: There was plenty of space in all the rooms although it still remained a comfortable and cosy cottage. Easy access to all other routes for days out. Wonderful view from living room window of Ben Nevis. Sept 2010.
th comment: Most of the rooms were of a good size with plenty of parking. July 2010.
th comment: The bedrooms were all a good size, with lovely bedding. There was plenty of storage. The kitchen was well equipped, and the garden was a good size, and once the drive gates were shut, provided a safe and secure place for my 18mo son to run around. He loved the ponies, chickens, and rabbits that visited every day. The only thing I would suggest is to bring your own bath sheets - bath towels were provided, but I wished had brought some bath sheets! Shower was fine though not very powerful, was perfectly adequate. The views from the cottage, particularly at the front, were beautiful, and it was delightful to find we were just a short 5min walk from the Soldier’s Bridge from which we could watch the Jacobite Steam Train pass, and Old Inverlochy Castle, overlooking the River Lochy. July 2009.
th comment: Large, roomy and well stocked. Also very well positioned to tour or for shops. June 2009.
th comment: Excellent property, though shower needs updating. More information about places to visit would have been helpful. June 2009.
th comment: Just a wonderful bungalow, with views of Ben Nevis from the lounge window, and other mountains from the back. The people are friendly and you feel as though you live there and aren’t just a visitor. May 2008.
