This cosy, detached holiday cottage is situated close to Fort William town centre and the end of the West Highland Way. The area is renowned for its outdoor pursuits, breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. Know as the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’, activities include mountain biking, climbing, skiing, kayaking, walking, golf and fishing.
Travel on the West Highland Steam Train to Mallaig, crossing the famous Glenfinnan viaduct, or visit some of the unspoilt beaches, castles, museums and distilleries.
Boat trips to the inner isles are easily accessible, and Ardnamurchan Peninsula, Oban, Aviemore, Inverness, Loch Ness and Skye are all within easy reach. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 600 yards.

2nd comment: Very well equipped, great layout. Everything you would need was thought of by owners. The location in Fort William was great, on a quiet road and in a quiet area but the town centre could be accessed very quickly by using the many runnels, steps or paths leading there. great eateries and pubs in town, with friendly atmosphere throughout. Scenery is second to none and very varied. Sept 2011.
