The village of Carbost is wonderful, with a fantastic meal at the Old Inn (we can recommend the burgers!) and the guided tour of the Talisker Distillery to warm us up on a cold, wet day. It was just perfect. Felt so at home, we are looking to move to Skye, maybe even in Carbost if we’re lucky. April 2011.
