Dalvuie Beag is a small traditional detached West Highland holiday farmhouse situated in a peaceful location beneath the slopes of Ben Lora. Surrounded by fields with views of distant mountains and close to the sea, lochs and beaches, the farm has a small herd of cattle and flock of sheep with conservation of rich natural history a priority. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
Ground floor: Living room with sofa bed. Dining room. Kitchen. Utility room. Sun room. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms with sloping ceilings: 1 double with en-suite toilet, 1 twin.
Open fire in living room, mutli-fuel burner in dining room (initial fuel inc). NSH and elec panel heaters inc (£25pw Nov-Apr). Elec, bed linen and towels inc. T/cot and h/chair on request. Freeview TV. DVD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. Freezer. Grassed area with sitting-out area and furniture. BBQ. Parking (2 cars). Cycle store. Table tennis and cycle hire (by arrangement). Pet free of charge (kept under control - working farm). No smoking. NB: Pond in grounds, 80 yards.

3rd comment: Delightful, well equipped and spacious and the owners were helpful. The trip around the farm was a bonus. We have stayed in cottages all over Europe and this was the best equipped and most spacious we can recall. Do not miss feeding time at the sea life centre, the otters are amazing. May 2012.

7th comment: The property was in a beautifully quiet location. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, a real home from home. The owners were very welcoming and were always willing to give you advice on places to visit. Have already booked to go back again next year. Poppies nursery do delicious lunch time meals, at a reasonable price too. A trip up to Inverness is worthwhile - the views were spectacular. Sept 2011.
