Very convenient for ferries to Islay, Jura, Gigha, Arran and Colonsay. Picturesque yachting villages of Tayvallich and Crinan within 20 minutes. Fishing, golf, horse riding, cycling, sea kayaking and boat trips to the famous Gulf of Corryvrecken. Shops 2 miles, pub and restaurant 600 yards.

4th comment: We loved the cottage. We sat in the garden as much as we could and watched a lot of lovely birds and a little robin red breast came by each day. Very personal welcome from the owner. We devoured the home made muffins very quickly. we didn’t have the view of the canal as much as we expected but it was safe for the children and we did get to see the lock changes and many boats go by. June 2011.
5th comment: On arrival the greeting was very welcoming. Home made afternoon tea and cakes was a lovely surprise as was the basic items provided for our use. An abundance of books, artwork, CD’s and DVD’s made for a very pleasurable and relaxing stay. We particularly enjoyed all the books on Scotland and the local area. We will definitely come back again. May 2011.
