Customer Reviews of Clachan, Loch Torridon, Sleeps 5
st comment: A truly wonderful home from home with every comfort thought of and a generous welcome from the owners. Incredible views from the cottage and excellent walking / climbing in the area. Oct 2011.
nd comment: Very comfortable and well equipped cottage, with super views across the loch. Hosts very helpful and welcoming. Property is 5 miles along a winding single track road from Torridon, and 6 miles from the ’main road’, so that has to be factored in. It did rain every day (though not all day), and the midges were troublesome, but even so we thoroughly enjoyed the week. Sept 2011.
rd comment: Wonderful cottage and a fantastic location. Highly recommended! July 2011.
th comment: We really enjoyed our holiday at Clachan. It was a fantastic house with every small detail considered and taken care of. Amazing view, and in a perfect location. I’d recommend it to anybody. July 2011.
th comment: The property was excellent, everthing was clean and our hosts were great making sure we were well provided for with tea and coffee available when we arrived. We could not wish for a better place to have our holiday, with regular visits from a pinemartin. July 2011.
th comment: Clachan is a beautifully maintained and well-appointed cottage in a fantastic location. As the weather in Torridon can be very poor (we had a fortnight’s virtually solid rain) it is a tribute to the comfort of the cottage that we still had a relaxing and enjoyable time. The owners were friendly, supportive and attentive without being intrusive, and the greeting tray with tea/coffee shortbread and wine was most welcome. One of the very best cottages we have stayed in in 30 years of self-catering and highly recommendable. May 2011.
th comment: The cottage had everything one would need and the views from the cottage were magnificent. The cottage was beautifully clean and the furnishings were so tasteful. Sept 2010.
th comment: Beautiful and remote location, yet all the necessary mod cons to make the stay very comfortable, which was especially important to us because we have young children. The wine on arrival was a really nice touch and helped us unload the car while being attacked by midges! The apples from the trees in the garden made a delicious apple crumble. A really pleasant and memorable stay. Sept 2010.
th comment: Views. May 2010.
th comment: Well equipped, clean and homely. May 2010.
th Comment Very warm welcome, comfortable, clean, spacious. Very complete and hospitable. Stunning view. The ideal place for a holiday. The owners were friendly and helpful. We loved the place and we felt at home straight away. May 2010.
th Comment The owners went beyond themselves to give us an excellent holiday, we will be going back again for a 3rd time. July 2009.
