There are miles of unspoilt beaches and rugged coastline where you could enjoy a large variety of watersports including kayaking, windsurfing and sailing, or for the mountain bike enthusiast there are numerous forest trails to test you.

Travel north and visit John O’ Groats, Wick or Thurso, along with the lovely Orkney Isles which can be reached via ferries from Gills Bay or Stromness. For the less energetic, you could sit back, relax and enjoy the ever changing views from the comfort of Castle Hill.
