Ben Lomond, Tarbet, sleeps 4

1st comment: We loved the property, and the area around it. The owner was a lovely guy, very friendly. Aug 2011.

3rd comment: Ben Lomond is in a wonderful setting but the approach road is a rough track ~ fine for us, but you need a sturdy car, We anticipated a bit of ’weather’ but it was exceptional ~ gales, trees down on the main road approach and, on our first night, a tree down, blocking the drive. Helping Robert clear the drive with his chainsaw was just one of the events of the holiday. He helped out when there was a power cut while we were cooking and he couldn’t have been more helpful overall. Inverary town, castle, and surrounding area were all without electricity all of the following day, but everyone did the best they could to help us tourists. Our Hungarian friends were impressed with the whole area and with the welcome we received. May 2011.

7th comment: The setting is beautiful as it looks straight over to Ben Lomond. The owner is very nice and helpful and you are welcome to roam around his land as much as you like. Very peaceful. July 2010.

8th comment: A very nice cottage in a most excellent location. One we will definitely visit again, as Robert (owner) is such a lovely guy & very helpful. Rife in wildlife (deer, eagles you name it its there.) Easy access to west coast and highlands to boot. Infact if I could I would buy the place. July 2010.
