Edinburgh Tattoo Day Tour
A day tour of Highlands + Tattoo at the end, with visits to a distillery (inc dram), mountains of Perthshire. At the end of the day enjoy an evening at the world famous Edinburgh Militatry Tattoo. Runs 5th-27th August NOT Sundays.
The World Famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo - Whisky distillery visit - Dunkeld Cathedral - Hermitage Forest Walk - Wallace Monument
We leave Edinburgh to drive West passing over the historic battlefield at Bannockburn and pass Stirling with views of its Castle and the Wallace Monument.
Then it's into the Highlands through the scenic beauty of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, once home to the infamous cattle thief and rogue, Rob Roy MacGregor.
We might get a chance to meet Hamish the Hairy Coo if there is time!
We visit a local whisky distillery where you will learn how the 'water of life' is made and sample a wee dram for yourself.
We then explore the peaceful Hermitage and take a short woodland walk to see the Black Linn Falls on the River Braan.
We take in Dunkeld with its spectacular cathedral on the banks of the River Tay before returning south past the inspiring Forth Bridge.
Back in Edinburgh, you will have time to have dinner and explore the city before making your own way to the evening performance of the Military Tattoo at Edinburgh Castle.

Cancellation of your booking must be in writing. When written notification has been received by the Operator a fee will be levied to cover the administration costs incurred (25% of booking price being the minimum fee). The amount of the cancellation fee will be dependent on the number of days prior to the departure date of the tour as follows (not including day of departure nor the day of notification):
- Up to 14 full days Full refund less 25% of the price paid
- Within 14 days No refund applies

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made by email to the email address sending the confirmation.
Please note that customers cancelling or wishing to alter any confirmed tour reservation will be charged a standard fee of 10% per booking to cover administration costs.
The following terms and conditions apply:
- Cancellation more than 3 working days before departure - full refund less administration fee.
- Cancellation less than 3 working days before departure - no refund.
Full payment is required at the time of booking. We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance which covers eventualities such as cancellations.
