Lum Hat House, with its own access to foreshore and beach, is a detached property, enjoying an enviable setting on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, with superb views across the waters to the mountains beyond. From the living room and conservatory you can see a variety of birds and hopefully catch a glimpse of the bottlenose dolphins.
Nearby is Udale Bay RSPB Reserve with hide. Cromarty itself is close and is the Highlands best preserved historic village, with a lovely sandy beach.
The property is a super holiday base for touring this unspoilt area of outstanding beauty. Isle of Skye, Ullapool and Inverness are within easy reach. There are lots of activities including sailing, fishing, mountain biking, or relaxing in a lovely quiet area. Lots to see and do for all ages.

3rd comment: We’ve had a fantastic holidays. Our children (aged 5 and 7)enjoyed playing on the private beach. We made trips to Cromarty, Inverness, Ulapool, Avimore, made few walks around Fortrose. The weather was great. Every day sunshine! Very friendly neighbours. We will keep only beatiful memories. We loved Wirain’s glass room (consevatory) and garden. Our holiday there made us to wish to spend more time in Scotland. Wonderful, beautiful country of sheep (our doughter loves little Timmy from "Shaun the sheep" series :-)), mountains and lochs.
