Description :Glenmorangie (which is pronouched OGlen -MORangie' which means 'the glen of tranquility' in Gaelic) was converted from a brewery and licensed in 1843. The distillery has been owned by Macdonald and Muir since 1918. The water comes from the Tarlogie Springs, and the Glenmorangie 10-Year-Old Single Malt is an extremely popular whisky: medium-bodied with a lightly, sweet flavour. The visitor centre is housed in the original still-house, and features a 130-year-old working steam engine, and stories and artefacts from the distillery's past. Visitors can tour the distillery, and admission charge is redeemable.
