Blue Moon cafe, the 20 year old bar/bistro, is one of the oldest gay-friendly cafes in Edinburgh. Straight-friendly too. A fab place to hang out. Friendly waiters and waitresses. Menu is concentrated along the basic pub fare, but really good. Informal vibe and a wide selection of wines. Open 7 days a week: 11am-11pm. Serves food all day till 10pm and the bar is on till 11pm.
