Bennet's Bar
Originally set up in 1875, in Bennets, time seems to have not changed a wee bit all these years. Offers an interesting menu and dining list. The original Victorian fittings of the front bar and the intricate wood work adds up to the retro charm Bennets.
Marvel at the carved wooden gantry, the stained-glass windows, the huge mirrors, and the glass-topped tables with inlaid city maps while you enjoy a great pint of beer and perhaps some good old-fashioned (and cheap) food (served in the back room at lunch-times only). One of the city's finest traditional howffs.
Open Mon-Wed till 2330, Thu-Sat till 0030, Sun till 2300.
