Pooltiel House is situated in Lower Milovaig, in the North West of Skye, Scotland. It is part of the Glendale Estate. The local area is very much dominated by the beautiful natural surroundings: a robust Scottish landscape, an impressive shoreline, and the wide surrounding ocean water of The Minch and Loch Pooltiel.
Pooltiel House is a coastal property. It sits on a fenced off part of a large plot close to the shores of Loch Pooltiel. It is a newly built holiday home (completed in 2012) that takes advantage of what this part of Skye has to offer to visitors. Supplying one of the best views in Scotland to boot: over Loch Pooltiel towards the high cliffs of Dunvegan Head and out towards The Minch and the Western Isles in the distance. The area is famous for its wildlife which can be enjoyed from the house or after a short walk or drive by car.
The house is reached from a small acces road, coming from the B884. It has a private gate and driveway and ample, level, parking close to the house. Ramp access to the front door.
Downstairs is a hallway with a large separate toilet that gives access to the open plan kitchen and living and a separate bedroom with two single beds and its own ensuite. The sea side part of the house has large windows so you can really enjoy the view.
The second floor has a landing with two more bedrooms and a shower room with separate toilet. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a super king size, the other bedroom has two single beds.
The kitchen comes fully equipped and there is a wood burning stove in the living area. Cot and high chair and washing/drying/ironing facilities are available.
Pooltiel House comes with free WI-FI, a smart TV with satellite dish, blue ray player and stereo with iPod dock.
