Situated on the north west coast of the beautiful Rhins of Galloway Peninsula, 8 miles from Stranraer, this well appointed cottage enjoys panoramic views over the rolling countryside and across the Irish Channel. Ferries pass daily on the 90 minute crossing from Stranraer’s ferry port. Dally Bay is within 1 mile where seals and porpoises can be spotted, and accessed via the road or a footpath through fields. Sandy beaches, rocky coves, walking, golf, fishing, pony trekking and cycling nearby. Shop and pub 3 miles.
All on ground floor: Living room with wooden floor. Kitchen. Utility room. 2 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 bunk. Shower room with walk-in shower and toilet.

1st comment: Wonderfully equipped cottage in a quiet, ’away from it all’ location! Excellent garden for dogs and some fabulous walking locally. Lovely home made cakes,biscuits and eggs on arrival were the perfect welcome. March 2012.

3rd comment: A lovely cosy cottage with views from the decking area out towards Belfast, some nice local walks but can be quite muddy. We had a great time even though we went out of the tourist season, the Mull of Galloway and Port Logan are well worth a visit on a clear day. Oct 2011.

Great base for visiting the Galloway area with all its attractions, lots of good walks, Bruce’s Stone, Cream O’Galloway and Bladnock distillery worth a visit.
