This delightful detached holiday cottage enjoys a peaceful setting in the picturesque village of Drumnadrochit close to the shores of Loch Ness. The cottage makes an ideal base for exploring Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, the scenic west coast and Inverness, the Highland capital. Super area for mountain biking, forest walks, climbing, and boat trips – also with an abundance of wildlife a wonderful area for the nature lover. Near to the Great Glen Way, Glen Affric and Glen Urquhart there is plenty to do, or simply relax and take in the atmosphere and enjoy the Highland hospitality. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.

1st comment: Made to feel very welcome by the hosts. Super welcome pack with essentials was much appreciated. Great modern, clean & comfortable accommodation. Liked the flexibility of being able to book self catering accommodation for a short break rather than just Saturday to Saturday. Would recommend the boat trip on the "Nessie Hunter". April 2012.
2nd comment: Fantastic cottage, the owners really have thought of everything. Although it’s close to the owners house you’re not overlooked or overheard. The owners were really helpful and on hand when we needed them. Oct 2011.
3rd comment: A beautifully presented and well equipped cottage. It was exceptionally clean yet felt very homely. We felt that the location meant it was ideal for visiting lots of the local sites. Would definitely recommend the cottage and the area as a great base for exploring. July 2011.

7th comment: Excellent in every way. Welcome pack waiting for us when we arrived. All facilities were to hand, the wet room was fabulous. There wasn’t anything that hadn’t been provided. So clean and comfortable. Margaret and Brian were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. Plenty of brochures and helpful paperwork provided. The best cottage we have stayed in - superb. Aug 2010.
