Set amidst open countryside on a small holding, this cosy cottage has a carefully designed interior which offera all modern conveniences.
Located close to the start of the Southern Upland Way, the cottage is perfect for those enjoy walking and cycling. Locally there is a leisure centre and a swimming pool and the area also boasts four golf courses, golf range and the coastal resort of Stranraer with a good selection of shops and day trips to Ireland is close by.
With a mild Gulf Stream climate, there are plenty of pretty gardens to visit including Logan Botanical Gardens, Ardwell House Gardens and Castle Kennedy which is famous for its rhododendron and azalea collections. The scenic fishing village of Port Patrick is just 6 miles away.

1st comment: Great accommodation with everything you need. Situated on the edge of Stranraer on the road to Port Patrick or Drummore. You can see loch Ryan and Arran beyond from the cottage which was still visible at 12.40am during our stay in June, fantastic! June 2011.

3rd comment: Very peaceful, comfortable - great location. Plenty of walks and interesting places to explore. Good to place to be if you want to get away from everyday city life... very, very clean, comfortable. Good to have many towels and mirrors in the bedrooms. Sept 2009.
