Customer Reviews of The Cottage, nr Coupar Angus, sleeps 6-7
st comment: The location was excellent the cottage was more than comfortable only one snag there isn’t anywhere to eat out close by during the week. April 2012.
nd comment: Excellent cottage. Ideal location. Caretakers very helpful. Plenty room for 6 people. Aug 2011.
rd comment: The cottage was beautiful. There were 6 of us staying, but there was still plenty of room for us all. We were impressed with how clean and tidy the cottage was and very well equipped. Will hopefully go there again very soon. Feb 2011.
th comment: Beautiful, spacious, well appointed cottage, in an area with easy access to many points of interest and excellent walking and hiking. Local grocery shopping and easy access to Edinburgh, Perth and the east coast. Having the caretaker of the cottage nearby was a great asset. Best accommodation I have had in many years of travel in th U.K. and Europe. Highly recommend it to fellow Canadians. Oct 2010.
th comment: The property has a lovely sun room, used as the dining room, which was bright and cheery even on a dull day. The kitchen was very well equipped. July 2010.
th comment: Spacious, quiet abd clean. July 2010.
th comment: As it was a hot weekend, we loved eating out, using the garden furniture and patio doors leading from the dining room. The garden was fairly large and quiet. The house was comfortable and smartly decorated and had most things we needed. the welcome tray and bag of fudge were a nice touch. The village was peaceful too. June 2010.
th comment: Very comfortable - everything was there that was needed for relaxing week - log fire was excellent!! Oct 2009.
th comment: Quiet country village. Aug 2009.
th comment: We spent a few days at the Edinburgh festival and this was a good base (about an 1hr and 15 minutes by road). Great location for exploring the countryside and a good base for exploring Scotland further afield. The owner was very attentive and clearly wanted us to enjoy the experience. The property was clean and well equipped. If anything we think the brochure/website undersells this property and its location in a very friendly small community. Neighbours were very helpful and clearly had a good relationship with the property owner! A very relaxing quiet break within driving distance of Edinburgh and with Glamis Castle on its doorstep! Aug 2009.
