Customer Reviews of The Auld Kirk Holiday Home Melvich North Coast - Sleeps 5/7
A beautiful and comfortable cottage with lovely views, we even had a couple of doe's looking over the fence at us. Melvich has a stunning beach and a very friendly pub with wonderful food.

A beautiful cottage of very high standard very comfortable furnishings. In a very quiet location. It was like a 5star hotel. Every need was catered for adults & children. We will certainly return.
Mr Rodden,

A really lovely cottage with beautiful views all around. The cottage was spacious, a recently restored old church which was done up to a very high standard with lovely decor and superb bathrooms. We would love to come back here and we would highly recommend it. I really enjoyed the views and after a busy day I could sit on the sofa and had wonderful vistas through the windows both to my left and right. Such a great place to stay.

It was a very good place to be - the best cottage we've ever had! There were lots of things to visit/explore in an acceptable distance.

The house is stunning inside, light, clean, spacious, luxurious. Outlook is also stunning towards the Highlands. We were so impressed with the position of the house and the interiors that would love to go back to it one day. The house is equipped so well, a pleasure to cook in the kitchen every night. It has 3 bathrooms and spacious bedrooms - simply luxurious like a hotel stay. We enjoyed it immensely and highly recommend. The owners are warm and friendly.

“Exceptional quality. Probably the best cottage yet stayed at.”
Mr Moss, FRODSHAM, November 2016
“Excellent holiday. Cottage was warm, cosy, well equipped. Very helpful owners. Lovely scones with cream and jam. Bottle of wine waiting when we arrived. Would definitely recommend this cottage and sykes cottage.”
Mrs Gosney, BASILDON, November 2016
“The Highlands are no gourmet destination, in October you may even struggle to find a good cup of tea/coffee as you travel, and there are few eating places. Our solution is to find quality self catering accommodation and to cook..... 'The Auld Kirk' is just the place to return to after a day out climbing mountains or walking the many beautiful beaches nearby. It is beautifully renovated, comfortable, warm and well equipped. The owners are friendly and helpful and live nearby. Happy to recommend to anyone wanting to visit this wonderful area.”
Dr Jamieson, Harrogate, October 2016
“Directions to the property inadequate. An indication of the distance from the A9 would have been helpful - rather than just 'located on the right hand side of the road.' The most delightful 'cottage' - a truly stand alone and outstanding property - loved it!”
Mrs Williams, TAMWORTH, September 2016
