This superb lodge rests on the banks of Loch Katrine in the heart of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Furnished to a high standard, the holiday property combines traditional and modern, and offers the perfect base from which family and friends can relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. Boasting superb loch views, the property is situated on the pier of Stronachlachar. From here there is a small tea shop, bike hire for exploring the beauty of the surrounding area, and daily trips on the Sir Walter Scott Steamship. The area is a popular destination with walkers and cyclists, with permit fishing available for anglers. The nearby villages of Aberfoyle and Callander offer a wide selection of pubs, restaurants and shops, with many golf courses available throughout the region.
Loch Lomond is easily accessible by car, offering loch side cruises, a spa hotel, championship golf courses, an aquarium and selection of water sports. The cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all accessible by car. Shop and pub 10 miles.

1st comment: Stayed in this property just after i got married with a few friends had such a great time was there in December so had all sorts of weather which didnt stop us walking around the area. Amazing scenery and amazing cottage looking to go back in the summer. Dec 2011.

4th comment: Very grand and idyllic location. All the rooms were very spacious. All in all a fabulous lodge. However a couple of points to note: There was no/could not find hairdryer and it should be advertised that mobile phone reception is non existant. July 2010.
