1st comment: Furnished to a very high standard - very comfortable. Visitors will appreciate access to Sky TV and the large TV screen. Whilst central heating was available, the open fire was a bonus. Sept 2011.
2nd comment: We found the owners very friendly and helpful. For our purpose there were plenty of walks on our doorstep. The accomodation on arrival was very clean and a welcoming bottle of wine and some milk in the fridge. Would go back again. June 2011.

6th comment: The cottage was welcoming, well furnished and beautifully located. The owner was a very friendly and talkative, making the whole experience more enjoyable. It was much more than we expected, the owner taking into account we were from Newcastle and putting a bottle of Newcastle brown ale in the fridge for us with some wine. the facilities were well maintained and looked after, this included the fantastic (huge) shower that to be frank you could fit a whole family into. The sofa, bed and general living areas were extremely comfortable and entertainment provided was excellent. Aug 2010.
