This is a great base from which to explore the countryside and nearby border towns and villages, or walk the Borders Abbey Way. Jedburgh Abbey and Castle Jail are a must for visiting, along with Queen Marys house. Quiet roads ideal for cycling or mountain biking. Hill walking, fishing and golf locally. Edinburgh/Newcastle 1 hour. Cycle store available at property. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.
