Customer Reviews of Old Croft House, Strathcarron, Sleeps 4
st comment: If you want real peace and quiet without technology this is the place for you. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and the quiet of the countryside this cottage is second to none. Its location is perfect and the location is close enough for the west side of Scotland including Skye. A real must and value for money if looking for that short break or week away. Oct 2011.
nd comment: Blessedly quiet, warm and great for walkers because of the scullery area for boots, waterproofs etc. Owners could not have been more helpful or welcoming, even contacting a mountain guide on our behalf to organise a Cuillin trip. We’ve booked with Welcome Cottages for many years, and although this was the most expensive property to date, it was by far the best. We wish we’d booked for 2 weeks! Aug 2011.
rd comment: The cottage is in a fantastic location (I lived in it back in the late 1980s), with very friendly owners, and is well equipped. It is on a working croft, so be prepared for animal noises, but this only makes for a more real and enjoyable experience. April 2011.
th comment: Fantastic remote, cosy hideaway. The cottage is very warm and the furnishings very clean and attractive. The real fires really add to the atmosphere. Would thoroughly recommend to those wanting a real break away from a busy life. March 2011.

th comment: I liked all of it; outstanding. June 2010.
th comment: The croft was very very comfortable. Great care has obviously gone into making sure the property provides all comforts usually associated with being at home. The location was superb - down a very quiet country track (great walks just from the door), yet just a 5 minute drive to the local small supermarket/papers/coal. March 2010.
th comment: We had a wonderful holiday in Old Croft House. The owners were extremely kind and helpful and the cottage was beautiful. The surrounding area was more beautiful than i could ever imagine and the local folk were very kind and even drove us into Lochcarron to the local shop as we came by foot (which was a bit mad but doable). I cant wait to go back again, enjoy your visit! Dec 2009.
