A delightful semi-detached holiday cottage in an idyllic location with magnificent sea views to the Isle of Man and the Galloway Hills. Situated 3/4 mile up a private good road, on the edge of the owner’s 50 acres of private woodland, with paths leading to a secluded sandy, pebbly beach and rocks for sea fishing - 10 minute walk. Two mile bluebell walk in May. Galloway House gardens, 2 miles. Shops/PO, bowling green, two tennis courts, harbour and nearest pub 11/4 mile.
Ground floor: Living room. Dining room/kitchen. 1 double bedroom. Bathroom with toilet. Shower room. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft), 1 twin.
Open fire with back boiler in living room (initial fuel inc). First £5 (summer) and first £10 (winter) NSH, elec panel heaters and elec inc, remainder by £1 meter. Bed linen and towels inc. Cot. H/chair. DVD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. D/washer. F/freezer. Parking (2 cars). Garden and furniture.

2nd comment: Quite an isolated property, which was what we wanted. Very cosy and welcoming. You need to take plenty of supplies with you though as shops are very far away. Nearest supermarket was 15 miles away. Sept 2011.
