This cosy, former detached fisherman’s cottage is situated in a marvellous setting right on the seafront. Typical of the village, the cottage sits gable end to the sea, a testament to Crovie’s rugged past, built to withstand the winter storms that can occur here.
Crovie is built on a narrow ledge with the sea just yards from the door and in the summer it is lovely to sit and look out for the marine life which passes through the area, from dolphins to seals and birds. The Sea can be viewed from the patio.
Enjoy the walk to Gardenstown - a similar but larger village, or explore the villages further west, from Sandend to Portsoy and Cullen.

5th comment: Really loved the cottage and would go back. Plenty of heat when the boiler actually worked, had a coal fire which was great and added that extra cosiness. Lots of books and games available. Local folk lovely and very helpful. Feb 2010.
6th comment: Comfortably and pleasantly furnished. Good sized rooms. Open fire very pleasant in the colder months after day out. Windows overlook the sea - we saw a seal and a wide variety of birds. This cottage is ideal for anyone who enjoys walking and wild life. Feb 2010.
7th comment: Very comfortable, homely and relaxing surroundings and a property where you would be warm even in the middle of winter! Sept 2009.
8th comment: Lovely, comfortable cottage. Short walk to nearby Gardenstone where there’s a bakery and good pub (with wi-fi connection - which pleased the teenagers!). Lovely cottage in a very, very quiet village. Beautiful views. Aug 2009.
9th comment: I have stayed in much larger premises at Crovie before but I have to say Number 10 Crovie surpassed the lot. It was so warm and comforting to come back to after a long drive or long walk with our dog. Crovie is such a magical, unspoilt and welcoming place it was equally as pleasing to find such a marvelous cottage. We are coming back to Crovie this summer and will continue to return at least once a year. April 2009.
10th comment: The location is just incredible!!! Nov 2008.
